Welcome to 2009 Youth Development League

Welcome back to the Cricket Season for 18 weeks during May, June, July and August all the young cricketers in Swale will be battling out for their propective clubs. This season once again sees record numbers of team entries.

7 teams in the U9s league (2 x Bapchild, 2 x Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow,1 x Minster, 1 x Sheppey, 1 x Upchurch),

8 teams at U11s (2 x Bapchild, 1 x Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow,1 x Macknade, 1 x Minster, 1 x Rodmersham, 1 x Sheppey, 1 x Upchurch),

11 teams in U13s (3 x Bapchild, 1 x Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow, 1 x Gore Court, 1 x Macknade, 1 x Minster, 1 x Rodmersham, 1 x Sheppey, 1 x Upchurch and guest sides The Mote).

10 teams at U15s (2 x Bapchild, 1 x Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow, 2 x Gore Court, 1 x Macknade, 1 x Minster, 1 x Rodmersham, 1 x Sheppey, 1 x Upchurch)

A further 5 teams in the newly formed Development League (1 x Bapchild, 1 x Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow,1 x Minster, 1 x Sheppey, 1 x Upchurch),

There will be over 400 young cricketers every week competing in the National Summer Sport this is a great testiment to all the excellent work that is going on in the clubs by all the many coaches and volunteers that make this all possible.
